Writer
Much of the way we communicate with the world requires the written word, from our grants to our website, from PR materials to special projects. We have a lot of stories to tell and we need you to help us tell them well.

PR Writer
Work with the Executive Director to create a Black Rock Arts Foundation press kit. This includes writing a Fact Sheet, crafting a cover letter, and custom crafting press kits as needed.

PR Research Assistant
Work with an expert in the Public Relations field, our lead PR volunteer, Debbie Rich. Learn how to research, build and maintain a press database. Identify the key contact(s) at newspapers and magazines.  This includes going to magazine websites, reporters' blogs, mining magazine mastheads or finding contact info elsewhere. Research deadlines for submitting press releases and submitting editorial pieces to magazines and newspapers. Acquire editorial venues' press kits (usually a PDF download).

Social Networking Lead

Development/Marketing Researcher
Do you have expertise in these areas that you would like to put to use towards our good cause? We are a small organization poised to go to the next level in a fluctuating economy and we need your help strategizing new ways to connect we need to take what we all value to a broader community of participants.
